Bringing Muslim communities together
From April 22-27, Mission Brazil sponsored the visit from the United States of Sheikh Mohamed Mardini and Ms. Suehaila Amen, a Muslim community activist, to promote interfaith understanding as part of the Department of State’s Generation Change Initiative, a youth-led global network dedicated to empowering the next generation of Muslim innovators and leaders.

São Bernardo do Campo has flourished as a hub for heavy industry and automakers in the last half century. Putting a Face to American Diplomacy in Mato Grosso do Sul
The cities of Campo Grande and Tres Lagoas in Mato Grosso do Sul do not often get U.S. government visitors. Between April 16 and 18, Economic Officer Jonathan Posner helped to change this by embarking on an outreach trip to the different communities in the state and to provide face-to-face diplomacy in Brazil’s thriving hinterlands.
